Labor Education Activity
On 12th May, 2024, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High School Division of the east campus successfully launched a unique labor education activity, the theme of which is ‘Inheriting Virtue, and Appreciating Family’, aiming to let students deeply experience the hardships and fun of labor through practical actions, and cultivate their gratitude and self-care ability in the meantime.
On the day of the event, the students took actions by offering back massage to their elders, tidying their rooms, cleaning their homes, and even cooking dishes for their families. These seemingly simple actions contained deep family emotions, through which the students not only learned to cherish the efforts of their families, but also learned to be grateful and reciprocate.
In a nutshell, the success of this labor education activity enriched students' extracurricular life, and made them feel the value and fun of labor in their personal experience as well. Therefore, it is believed that in the coming days, students will face life and study with a more positive attitude, and inherit and promote the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation.
